TICKETS TO TRAVEL

Customers having purchased a paper ticket from one of our approved vendors should keep it safe as replacements will not be issued. The Customer must show their ticket at the beginning of the tour. The ticket remains the property of the Spoke ‘n Motion Bike Tours (the Company) and must be produced for inspection and, if requested to do so, be surrendered upon demand to an authorised Company Official. The Customer will not be permitted to join any Spoke ‘n Motion tour without a valid ticket.

Customers having reserved and paid for their tour via the Company’s website will not receive a paper ticket,but instead will be provided with an e-ticket containing tour details and their unique booking reference number. This e-ticket will be emailed to them as soon as a successful payment has been processed.

TICKET VALIDITY

A paper ticket or e-ticket entitles the Customer to join the tour only on the date for which it was booked.

CHILDREN

Concessionary tickets are available for Children aged between 14-17 years. Children under 14 years are not permitted to join any Spoke ‘n Motion tour.

Eligible children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

CONCESSION RATES

The concession rate is also available to Customers in full or part time education who are in possession of a valid student photocard issued by a recognised student body or provider of education and to customers over the age of 60 who have photographic identification illustrating this. Acceptable identification for the latter includes a valid passport, driving license, birth certificate or Transport for London Freedom Pass. All Customers purchasing a concession ticket must provide their photographic identification showing entitlement to the tour guide at the beginning of the tour.

DEPARTURE POINTS AND TIMES

All Customers are required to be at the stated departure point by the stated departure time as all tours leave promptly. Any Customer failing to show up for the tour they are booked on is excluded from our refund policy. The Company endeavours to provide departure points and times for their tours which are as accurate as possible. However, the Company reserves the right to vary such departure points and times without notice, as circumstances require.

TOUR ROUTE

The Company reserves the right to deviate from the normal tour route in the event of marches, parades, or where reasonably prudent to do so in the light of circumstances beyond the Company’s control.

REFUNDS

A full refund will be provided to any Customer at the end of their tour if they are not completely satisfied for any reason. This does not include Customers who failed to turn up for their tour at the designated time.

In the event that the Company is unable to provide a service throughout the validity of your ticket through circumstances within its control, you shall be entitled to a full refund of the price of your ticket. The Company will endeavor to provide this immediately at the departure point, but in the event that this is not possible, all applications for a refund must be made in writing to the Company’s offices at the Old Justice, 94 Bermondsey Wall East, London SE16 4TY.

An immediate refund will be given to any Customer who is unable to complete any of the Company’s tours because of mechanical problems with their bicycle.

ACCIDENT OR LOSS

Please take care of all personal property. The Company will not be liable for any theft, loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to negligence by the Company, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) for damages to a maximum of the refund of the ticket price.

PERSONAL SAFETY

Each Customer is responsible for maintaining their own safety at all times. The Company will not be liable for any injuries caused to a customer unless this is a result of negligence on the Company’s part. By agreeing to take part on the tour, all customers are agreeing to follow the safety instructions given by the guide and to exercise due care and attention whilst cycling.

CUSTOMER CONDUCT & SAFETY

The Company may, at our discretion, require any person to be excluded from a tour if The Company deems his or her conduct to be offensive or a nuisance to other Customers. The Company also reserves the right to refuse access to participate on a particular tour should circumstance be deemed to compromise tour safety.
