Creativity Is Key
This is a paid collaboration.
I love being creative. If you had to ask close friends and family five words about me, who I am, what drives me, what I’m all about, I would hope creative would be on that list. I am always dreaming up new ideas. Working for myself, it’s important to keep the creative juices flowing. Staying inspired, being motivated, taking ideas from conception to birth and then beyond. There are a number of things that I do in order to use my creativity. From surrounding myself with people I can bounce ideas off, to using appropriate software in order to be able to execute me creativity properly. So many people struggle with starting projects, but there are easy ways and things to implement in order to give yourself a helping hand. One of the things I do is ensure I have a specific creative space where I can bring ideas to life.
A Space For Creative Projects
When we moved house, I needed an office. Having worked from home for the best part of three years, from a makeshift desk in the gap under the stairs, it was time to have a dedicated space. The makeshift desk was only there to see if self employment worked. After three years, it clearly was. When we looked for new properties for our expanding family and the fact I needed to work from home, the office space was essential.
Creating a space I could go into, away from home life, with a proper desk. Somewhere to properly concentrate, a space for creating ideas, storage for business stock, great natural light and a set up that really works. Allowing ideas to flow. This really was one of the biggest additions to allowing my creativity, both in life and business happen. Being able to go to a place that is organised for how I work and do what I need to do in a way I need to do it, is perfect.

Creativity In Work
As I mentioned, I am self employed. My business ventures are very important to me and I know when to start new ones up and perhaps more specifically, when to shut them down if they are not working. Walking away from something you have put your heart and soul into is hard but when it’s not working, you simply waste creative energy trying to bring it back up from under the water. When you could be making something new! I have a photography arm of my work, a YouTube channel, marketing services, content writing, an online shop. Pretty much anything and everything, I’ll give it a go!
With all of this though, I need to be able to work smarter, not harder, in order to get through my never ending list of tasks. One of the ways I can do that is by using programs and services which actually help. One of these is Design Bundles. Their collection of resources, which cover pretty much everything you could need, help to make everything look professional, in just a few clicks. From mock ups for photography prints to svg files which come in handy for branding and website banners, there is something for everybody. Whatever you need, whatever you are looking for, if it’s not on there, it likely doesn’t exist. Being able to have access to a catalogue of awesome design resource helps make things that little bit easier and projects move quicker.
Personal Life Creativity
As much as I love staying creative in my work life, I love to bring that into my home life as well. I use a lot of photography in my personal life and love to take photos of my kids. Mocking these up in frames to share with friends and families online is fantastic. Having resources just a few clicks away in order to make quirky birthday party invitations makes us into awesome parents that others in the playground envy. Turning our kids festive crafts into awesome Christmas cards is also wonderful. Taking what we have, the creativeness of home and boosting it with affordable bundles that are available online whenever you need them is awesome.
Even helping our kids with their homework as they grow through the school years and get more projects and questions to answer. Being able to help them use amazing fonts, with inspirational pictures and easy to sue downloadable templates makes the task of homework that little bit easier, and a lot more fun! Downloadable family quotes that we live by in our home can even be found with just a quick search. I hope that my involving my children in my creative outlets at home, this will enable them to flourish with their creative abilities too.

Stand Out From The Crowd
I think that whether you’re branding a business or working on a social media campaign, there is something for you on Design Bundles. You could be looking for Lightroom presets for your photographs, searching for a newsletter template for your annual update you include with your Christmas cards or maybe wanting some paper craft to keep the kids entertained. It might be that you want printables for an annual event, you need food and drink imagery for a new website or a business card template for your side hustle. Whatever you are looking for, you’ll find something that will work. Beyond ‘what will work’ actually. It will actually take what you initially had in mind to the next level.
When you are doing work for your business, or a project at home with the family, you want it to look the best it possibly can be. You want it to stand out from the crowd. By arming yourself with fantastic resources, you allow your creativity to set up a couple of levels. Your creativity is never in question, it simply, sometimes, just need a bit of a helping hand.
